The Crimson Glyph (Werewolf/Mafia/Psychopath)

That just makes it harder to vote, not impossible. There’s usually someone who is acting a bit off, or some nagging suspicion in your mind. If not, you need to find some.

I ended up not voting because having the Day end on a weekend, especially Mother’s Day weekend, pretty much guarantees I won’t be around for it. I really didn’t have time to vote between asking for more information from Ed and Paul and the Day ending.

It doesn’t really do much for your claim that “you don’t post much, but when you do it’s substantive”, though. If you’re not going to be around on the weekend, then place your vote beforehand. Even someone who just voted with no reason given and said nothing else would be providing more substance than you have, thus far.

Incidentally, some technically-useful information:

On the main forum page, if you click on the number of replies to a thread, it brings up a page that lists everyone who’s posted to the thread, and how many posts they have. If you then click on the number of posts on that thread, it gives you a list of all that person’s posts (I’d thought there was a feature something like this for a while, but I only just now had occasion to test it).

Doing this for Nanook, I find that he has five posts in this thread. The first one was before the game started, so we can ignore that. The second one was a defense of me, that Town shouldn’t lynch the loud on Day 1, and of Angel, since the edit window is too short to do damage, plus a vote for Spurious, since it was “a decent Day 1 bandwagon”. This was his only substantive post in the thread. The other three are all explaining why he doesn’t post much, but that’s OK. One substantive post, plus three more fluff posts that say that the small number of posts is OK because most of them are substantive, is pretty pathetic.

It’s a quiet night tonight.

… too quiet.

6 more hours, right? I’ve got my pitch fork and torch ready!

After a successful day before, and a relatively sound night, things were starting to look up for the little village. Most everyone, again, had been woken up and gathered in the center square. But there was one person missing.

Paulwhoisaghost lived on the outskirts of town, in a tent. He had asked to be specifically excluded from the waking-up ritual, as he liked to find his own 'circadian rhythms. Everything about him screamed outsider. But he was friendly, and warm, and he seemed nice enough. But now he was missing. Had he simply up and left, off to the new town? No. His tent was still there. And inside–a rampage had taken place.

Everything was broken. Pots were smashed, the tarp was slit, the shelves were broken. Splinters, pages, blood were all strewn all over. And in the middle, his body lay, deliberately disfigured. Clearly whoever was killing had serious anger issues.

But who was Paulwhoisaghost? Well, like in most stories with a drifter, he was a charismatic young man who lived off the land. He was a preacher, the direct product of the Great Awakening. He would visit cities that had lost their way and host large prayer revivals. He could exorcise those plauged with personal demons, or sermonize for hours. And he had a large, oramental sword.

Paulwhoisaghost, the Traveling Preacher (Town Minion Master), is dead.

Day 3.

Day ends Sunday Noon, as usual.

A Minion Master is a role similar to an inventor (large variety of one-shot abilities), except a Minion Master works with a specific resource. In many games, he is a necromancer, where the resource is the dead. In this game, his resource was Sin.

So much for my suspicions of paul.

Wait.

Does this mean Paul’s claim was fully accurate, or was he hiding some part of it?

He was a pure townie when he died, based on the color of his death notice, so we should probably assume that he was telling the truth. Unless, of course, he was angling to be recruited by the Sinners, and just hadn’t gotten the Seed of Sin yet to have the opportunity to convert.

And I’m having a hard time figuring out what part of his claimed role could be described as “minion master”, since unlike a necromancer, he didn’t seem to have any minions.

It’s a generic term.

Shoot.

My vote was bought during the Night. I won’t be allowed to vote until Ped tells me to.

I can still participate in discussion, though.

Ugh…that’s a serious loss.

Well, Paul successfully purged me of the seed of sin last night.

Going to post my PM.

Last night
You were forcefully purged of the seed of sin.

Well. I guess I was right too. Not that it matters now.

So…Meeko and Special Ed…I know this doesn’t confirm me as town, but I AM town and you two are the closest we have to confirmed town. I intend to vote along with you guys to lessen a chance of a mislynch.

Since the two of you seem to be at odds, it might help town if you can find a way to work together.

**1. Paul posted his PM IN Game. No one made him do that.

  1. Paul Survived a 50/50 chance at the vote.

3.Did you really think that Paul was going to make it, claiming what he claimed?
**

I think I tied my Logic into a Pretzel trying to figure out Paul.

Something snowballed / bandwagoned on him, at the EXACT wrong time.
**
But Frankly, after he posted that he had that much of a power role, one side, or the other knew immediately if he was lying or not. **

At least it looks like he purged Angel BEFORE he was killed.

Well, something interesting to look at is that Paul said his vote was bought yesterDay, he voted for Captain Pinkies, this created a tie between Pinkies and Paul, if that person had decided to not make paul vote (assuming that’s allowed. If you buy a vote, can you make the person not vote) Paul would have died yesterday.
Not sure if that’s interesting or not, but it seems useful.
