I heard some time ago that the croak of a duck doesn’t produce any echo. Is this verified? And if it is, can someone explain why?
Wanna know why we park on a driveway and drive on a parkway?
Actually it is the quack of a frog that doesn’t echo.
If the duck croaked, then no echo.
No sound at all in fact.
Actually it is frog quacks who don’t do echos.
Is there an echo in here?
Did you know that if a frog ducks, it quacks up?
Up… up… up… up…
Is there an echo in here?
In case it wasn’t clear, I did modify your post deliberately
Particularly if it were hit by a tree falling in the forest, and nobody was around.
Ya know, I kind of think we should put a sticky up in GQ about the duck’s quack.
A duck’s burp’ll rhyme with purple.
This has been treated by Cecil. see
Also: Elephants are categorically NOT the only animals that cannot jump.
I guess the real question here is … where did the other dollar go??
Since this has been treated by Cecil, and the answer is that a duck’s quack does indeed echo. I’ll close this.
