personally i would have belived it would go for something like .ice or .cold
a bit of information:
dont know about all countries, but the ones i know only have 1 santa claus…US, finland, russia, norway…
here in iceland we have 13, exacly the number required to serve us 280.000 people…so when we clear 300.000 we will probably add nr 14 
perhaps your santa is more technically advanced (well, he uses the internet) but i am really sure he can visit all chimneys in his country.
