Amen, from soybean country, Illinois USA.
But what my farmer friends don’t sell in soybeans, they make up for by purchasing Trump baseball caps.
So it evens out?
You should ask them why they voted to put themselves in risk of bankruptcy. You should also ask them how they feel about socialism; you know, where U.S. taxpayers give free money to specific groups.
Interestingly, I ran across this article just earlier today after someone in another post linked to another article in The New Republic about another trump atrocity.
Are American farmers’ faces safe from leopards because they’re in on the grift?
Here’s an, um, interesting Truth Social post out today from @realDonald Trump:
It looks like Trump doesn’t trust RFK Jr to give medical advice. Donald is correct there.
In a rare moment of agreement, I’d also suggest staying away from Chicken P.
It’s interesting that despite it being proven that Tylenol causes Autism we still get to hear anti-vaxer dog-whistles.
Nope. There’s a name for people who think that supporting Trump protects them: suckers. And they aren’t in on the grift anymore; they only think they are, but that was before they helped elect somebody who thinks nothing of screwing over his own supporters. Somebody who doesn’t need their support anymore, to boot. To quote that linked article:
“Here in agriculture, I thought we all knew that story about free milk and a cow. And, uh, he’s got the milk,” she said. “He don’t need to buy the cow.”
Trump got into office; so their usefulness is at an end to him. Trump has no reason to want to help them, and given how supine Congress has been there’s no reason to think it’ll pressure him to do so anyway.
Given how the Right just loves soy, if all the soy farmers go bankrupt they’ll celebrate.
Nnnmmm
I’ll bet that U.S. taxpayers pay for bailing out the ‘farmers’… again.
There’s no market for soybeans, so we’ll just create one.
After expediting emergency aid payments of more than $8 billion to over 560,000 farmers since March, Secretary Rollins today released the $2 billion in remaining funding for the Emergency Commodity Assistance Program (ECAP) and announced the purchase of more than 417,000 metric tons of American grown commodities to support international food assistance programs. Together, these actions represent billions in support of American producers, helping them weather economic uncertainty at home while expanding markets for U.S. agriculture abroad.
I’ll bet that U.S. taxpayers pay for bailing out the ‘farmers’… again.
See above.
TAKE CHICKEN P SHOT
Makes bleach injections sound downright sensible by comparison.

If only we had something already set up to do this.
Chicken P.
That should be Trump’s Rapper Name.
Don’t ask what the “P” stands for.
to support international food assistance programs
…except they’ve killed all those programs…
“ChatGPT, rewrite ‘Button Up Your Overcoat’ in the style of Donald Trump…”
NY Times sub-headline:
“The president characterized Immigration and Customs Enforcement facilities as being under siege from domestic terrorists.”
Remove the words “being under siege from,” and you got yourself a true statement, there.
I guess when enough people have asked for the ones we really want…
What’s the magic number?
