God, I just saw a clip of Trump on CNN. “Portland is burning down to the ground, and has been for a long time!”
How long does he think a city can burn for?!?!!?

He supposedly watched Fox coverage from 2020, George Floyd unrest, and thinks its current.
Robert Reich (substance post) believes the plan is to invoke the insurrection act, as has been discussed here before.
The Fat Orange Monster indicated Monday he is considering invoking the Insurrection Act if he has to in order to get around Governors and court rulings telling him to stop deployments.
Mr. Trump said on Monday that he would considering invoking the Insurrection Act, which would allow him to deploy troops despite any court orders to the contrary. “We have an Insurrection Act for a reason,” he said, adding, “I’d do that if people were being killed and courts were holding us up, or governors or mayors were holding us up.”
As long as it needs to before he gets what he wants.
In Babylon 5 where was a scene where a planet’s capital city had been bombed from space and outside the throne room window you can see devastation and a prominent building on fire. The final season time had jumped twenty years and there was another shot out window with the same scene including the burning building. My thought was, “Where has the fire department been for twenty years?”
You know how these things happen - they’re only supposed to be temporary and next thing you know it’s a permanent tourist attraction.
“Time for the annual orbital bombing of the capital! The Imperial government has generously donated extra incendiary munitions, so we’re expecting an especially spectacular firestorm this year!”
Remember when the US AG used to at least try to act as a non-partisan position? Pam Bondi is the personal attack dog of the POTUS.
You forgot dead puppies and peeing in baby food. I mean, really, how can we even take you seriously?

Welp, Pammy’s doing a lot to enforce the old “women are too emotional to hold office” stereotype. She’s clearly rattled; honest people don’t lose their shit when asked tough questions, because they have the truth on their side. I saw what is alleged to be her notes for this hearing. If I can find the video again I’ll link to it; supposedly a media member took a picture of them (over her shoulder, I guess?). Sure enough, before each little tirade, you can see her glancing down at them. That’s right; our esteemed AG spent her prep time writing down “zingers” to spew because she can’t / won’t answer anything truthfully. She looks like a fool.
It’s all about the narrative. There is nothing beyond the narrative.
Also, here is a video talking about it.
Trump gave 25k to her reelection campaign in Florida. This is when she was investigating Trumps fake ‘University’. She dropped the investigation. And Trump now knows she can be bought (cheap too)
We know what you are Pam, now we are just negotiating the price.
At least when Quatar bought Trump, they got some real value for their money. And foreign countries having bases in the US is totally normal! (Is it?)
Foreign militaries have been training in the USA since long before I was in 40+ years ago. USAF had / has a pretty good side gig in that training
Not uncommonly they’d have a building or two of their own. Which usually had some construction done to prepare for their occupancy.
The current criminal regime is just that. But this event isn’t an obvious smoking gun.
Who pays who how much under the table is a very interesting question it seems we have no data on. Finding that the Qataris are paying $500M to a trump-controlled shell “construction” company to put up a carport wouldn’t surprise me in the least.
