Iran recently announced that they were closing the Strait, which is strange, because our BLOCKADE has already closed it. They’re helping us without knowing, and they are the ones that lose with the closed passage, $500 Million Dollars a day! The United States loses nothing. In fact, many Ships are headed, right now, to the U.S., Texas, Louisiana, and Alaska, to load up, compliments of the IRGC, always wanting to be “the tough guy!” We’re offering a very fair and reasonable DEAL, and I hope they take it because, if they don’t, the United States is going to knock out every single Power Plant, and every single Bridge, in Iran. I may be missing something bigger, but my candidate for yesterday’s chief horror is firing the Secretary of the Navy in the middle of a heavily naval war – and not for anything to do with the war, but, apparently, because of the Trump battleship program.
What’s confusing me is that some news reports seem to be saying that Sec. Phelan was fired for taking Trump’s insistence on quickly building a Trump Class Battleship more seriously than Hegseth. If it is true that Phelan advised using a foreign shipyard to get it done quickly (or at all), I can understand Trump not wanting to hear that.
The service Secretaries have almost zero to do with warfighting. So the idea that somehow replacing them during an episode of shooting is especially bad is unfounded.
But for sure any decision of the current criminal regime is done for a bad reason, or maybe a random reason and for sure at a random time. So dumb for sure.
I just assumed he was fired because he told Trump it’s not possible to drive his ships into the middle of Iran or something along those lines.
