Did one of your fellow countrymen accidentally dial 1-800-ASS-HOLE??
They usually won’t ship without at least a Purchase Order number.

Re last post, it is just my opinion. So much of the supermarket produce I see comes from Mexico or Canada.
Elsewhere, someone brought out “I would have loved to be the fly on the wall at that cabinent meeting yesterday when Musk and Rubio went after each other.” Well, Trump did end up defending Rubio, that he is working hard. But all in all Musk was in no way hindered. It was more like “that’s enough for now.”
The Republicans are eating our checks, they are eating our balances.
that cabinent meeting yesterday when Musk and Rubio went after each other
Early signs of an unscheduled rapid disassembly?
Well, yes and no. Trump is weak, it seems. But not too weak to get some input from his closest henchmen. He will likely decide one has to go. I think Musk and Vance on this list. Very easy to send a VP to their office and shut up. But he could also empower Vance and kick out Musk. But only when he feels he has done enough to punish us.

“Trump Turnberry vandalised overnight”
“Gaza is not for sale” sprayed across the lawn and golf course’s holes dug up.
Post has been locked. WTF?
Your post was removed because the submission didn’t appear to be actual Good News.
Ouch.
The r/Scotland sub has some comments about this.
Well, it wasn’t my post, but I sure thought it was good news. Bunch of party poopers over there.
They are really getting to be a bit too much over
there indeed.
Here’s a Newsweek article about it.
Thanks!
It turns out that a lot of the fired federal workers are getting told by conservative relatives that they are parasites who deserved it.
Scrambling to replace their health insurance and to find new work, some fired federal workers are running into another unexpected unpleasantry: Relatives cheering their job loss.
Something to keep in mind about right wing “friends” and relatives? They don’'t care about you. Their hate is more important to them than you will ever be, and they’ll gleefully sacrifice you to it.
“Trump Turnberry vandalised overnight”
The ghost of Janey Godley approves.
I thought this was a very telling case story. Country singer Jason Aldean is absolutely delighted with Trump so far, and so is his wife. Jason thinks Trump taking a wrecking ball to the entire federal government is going to save “a ton of our tax dollars” while, presumably, leaving all important services completely intact. And his wife Brittany “sleeps way better at night” knowing that all those pesky brown people are being arrested or turned away.
If anyone wants to know a little more about Jason and how he thinks, this might be a good example:
In 2023, Aldean hit back against criticism of his song “Try That in a Small Town”.
The song ignited furore among listeners, especially after Aldean released an accompanying music video which featured images of protesters fighting with police officers.
After being accused of “promoting violence”, the video was quickly pulled from rotation on Country Music Television, though the broadcaster did not provide a reason for its decision.
Critics also called the song “racist” and a “lynching anthem” after learning that the music video was filmed outside the Maury County Courthouse in Columbia, Tennessee, where 18-year-old Black teenager Henry Choate was lynched in 1927.
Appearing on the Coop’s Rockin’ Country Saturday Night podcast, Aldean said it was “not saying anything that’s not true” in the song.
I know Kid Rock and Ted Nugent would be in full agreement. The moral of the story is: beware of political opinions from anyone unironically wearing a comical hat. If that individual then proceeds to blather about how much they just love Trump, back away slowly, then run away!
‘Try That In A Small Town’ singer’s wife Brittany added: ‘I sleep way better at night’
Mahmoud Khalil, a Palestinian national who studied at Columbia and helped lead protests against Israel, was arrested by ICE agents Saturday night. When informed by his attorney that Khalil was legally in this country with a green card, an agent said that they were revoking it.
Immigration agents arrest Palestinian activist who helped lead Columbia University protests
As ICE agents arrived at Khalil’s Manhattan residence Saturday night, they also threatened to arrest Khalil’s wife, an American citizen who is eight months pregnant
Green cards can be revoked, I know. Can someone explain how this is illegal? It sounds illegal (I would think there would be notification and due process), but I don’t actually know. I know border guards have broad discretion.
The pregnancy and citizenship of his wife is emotive but irrelevant. I was to know how fascist this arrest was on a scale of 1 to 10.
Just leaving this NYT article from Friday September 25, 1936 here:
Columbia Univ painters employed as regular maintenance force strike
Three members of the American Student Union, including Robert Burke, who was expelled in June for leading the anti-Nazi demonstration last May, addressed a gathering of 500 students of the college and the various schools of Columbia University in front of Hamilton Hall yesterday noon, appealing to them to support the youth in his fight for reinstatement.
It’s all just a little bit of history repeating…

Yes, there is a supposed to be just cause and due process involved. Also - as one may have noted in the Trump administration’s recently railed about “illegal protests” - there’s a big Constitutional issue around prosecuting and persecuting people for their speech. Not that the current administration cares about due process or the Constitution.
