The Curse of Commerce

Gregg is now out. Commerce loses another candidate, this time because the candidate didn’t quite get it until now that he’d be working for someone who doesn’t quite share his views, and that while his views would be heard, he’d end up having to play ball according to the plays as called by Obama.

Doofus.
How long will it take to get someone in Commerce who will stick?

I hope that the third time’s the charm. This is starting to make Obama look bad.

They’re officially changing the name of the department from Commerce to DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS (NAMBLA).

Hey, it took Clinton three tries to get an AG. Maybe Janet Reno’s free these days.

I wonder if he was an idiot or if he got pressured by Republicans accusing him of playing ball with the enemy. Since the cite says he campaigned for the job, and understood that Obama is the boss, this makes him look worse than the president.

Not really. It’s actually good to get those out that don’t belong, or don’t want to belong, early on. It’s like you just got a new signifigant other for about a month and you find out they cheat on you. Bummer yeah, but a blessing in disguise no doubt! Right?

Hey, I’ll do it.

Might not be such a great idea, foolsguinea. When I read the thread title, the first name I thought of was Ron Brown.

That’s OK, I’m pretty depressive, but seem incapable of actually intentionally killing myself or getting myself killed. If it’s really cursed, I’ll wash out.
