Well, it was a political contest, just played a bit bloodier than in many places. Of course Benazir Bhutto might have been a better answer.
Yeah, yeah. I know he got a lifetime achievement award. Which really seems to me more about the Academy realizing, “Shit, we’ve dissed one of the best actors in our profession for years. Quick, let’s apologize while he’s still alive.”
I’m guessing, here. I watched the pilot and just didn’t get into it, so it’s another pop phenomenon that is passing me by.

Oh god … losers! #4, Rommel was actually a Field Marshal, but I guess that’s pretty close to General. George Allen Jr. lost re-election to the Senate from VA a couple of years ago for … macaca-gate.
