  1. My Favorite Things
  2. Roxie Hart
  3. Some Enchanted Evening
  4. Jud
  5. Divine
  6. Oklahoma!
  7. Nathan Detroit
  8. High School Musical

  11. inspiration for the knock-knock joke punchline “Sam and Janet Evening!”
  12. Makes sense to name one already mentioned in this Feud
  13. Can’t imagine a conch response for this question
  14. Although the actual answer is surely some show so bad that I’ve never heard of it (though twicks and swampy, among others, might well know it)
  15. Nitpick: since only two choices are offered, should be “the better Jesus”
  16. one of only nine performers to score the “show biz Grand Slam” of an Emmy, an Oscar, a Tony, and a Grammy
  1. Do, Re, Mi

  4. Slim

  5. Divine

  6. Les Miserables

  7. Eponine

  8. Cats

  9. Jesus Christ Superstar

  10. Nathan Lane

  11. Wish I could remember his name. But he is made of cellophane, after all, so it’s kind of appropriate. Didn’t really love that musical anyway.

  12. I have no idea if I’ve got the right musical. I hate that song, but it’s the only one I can think of.

  13. Haven’t seen it in forever. Just made up a name and hoped.

Lot of either/ors in this one. Scores should be higher than usual…

I probably should have just said “name a …” instead of name your favorite. <shrug>

And I can’t believe I didn’t say My Favorite Things for my favorite Sound of Music song. THAT is what I was singing to myself when I decided to propose this as a Feud. :smack:

  1. Climb Every Mountain

  3. You’ve Got to be Carefully Taught
  4. Ado Annie
  5. Divine
  6. 1776
  7. John Adams
  8. Cats
  9. Godspell
  10. Zero Mostel
We played #3 at a gay rights rally in Topeka, when Phred Phelps was getting started with his picketing. Just as appropriate now.

Zero Mostel, my #10 choice, was the first actor to win a Tony in two different catergories, dramatic and comic.

  1. Name your favorite song from The Sound of Music.

  2. Name your favorite Chicago character.

  4. Who is your favorite character in Oklahoma?

  5. John Travolta or Divine (Hairspray)?

  6. What’s your favorite musical?

  18. Jesus Christ Superstar

  19. Patty LuPone

Great one! Hard, though. LOL

I basically just went for what I thought would be most common AND things I liked. (I tend to assume that a zealous poster won’t go through my old posts and scream, “Freudian Slit claims that Patti Lupone is her favorite Tony winner, but her 76th post on the board, she really said she liked Bebe Neuwirth the best!” Perhaps I’ve spoken too soon. )

And in some cases, I hadn’t seen the musical in question, so it wasn’t really about favorite, more about what I thought would be most common.

  9. Godspell
