Notes:
5. And why wasn’t Harvey Fierstein a choice?
6 & 8. I’m assuming we’re talking stage musical rather than film, ruling out ‘Singing in the Rain’ and ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club,’ respectively
9. C’mon, he’s a superstar!
I probably should have just said “name a …” instead of name your favorite. <shrug>
And I can’t believe I didn’t say My Favorite Things for my favorite Sound of Music song. THAT is what I was singing to myself when I decided to propose this as a Feud. :smack:
I basically just went for what I thought would be most common AND things I liked. (I tend to assume that a zealous poster won’t go through my old posts and scream, “Freudian Slit claims that Patti Lupone is her favorite Tony winner, but her 76th post on the board, she really said she liked Bebe Neuwirth the best!” Perhaps I’ve spoken too soon. )
And in some cases, I hadn’t seen the musical in question, so it wasn’t really about favorite, more about what I thought would be most common.
Stephen Sondheim, Sweeney Todd***
*I haven’t seen it, so I’m guessing based on the little I know.
**Haven’t seen this either.
***Holy mackerel, that’s a wide open category.
