Yeaaaaah, feuds that have questions requiring a hint to guide you to the “correct” answer seem to not really be in the spirit of the thing. I am all for variety, though. Would play this one if I knew anything about either musician.
Yeah, the whole idea of a feud is that there should be multiple possible answers. When I’m writing a feud (OK, so I haven’t done one in a while), I reject a question if I can’t come up with more than three likely answers.
Plus I can’t even imagine what a pain this will be to score, with questions that require two answers.
I know, I knew the answers but this isn’t supposed to be a quiz, it’s a survey of the most popular answers!
FTR, a chicken was torn to pieces by the crowd at an early Alice Cooper show, therefore not a rumour, it actually happened.
I don’t get the Alice make-up question either!? In the early days his make-up was improvised almost nightly, it wasn’t until his solo career that he settled on the “Snake Eyes” everyone associates with him now.
Couple of other tidbits…
It was Ozzy who bit the head off a bat but he isn’t really considered a “shock rock” guy. KISS had some theatrical elements such as the make-up, breathing fire, and spitting blood but they weren’t a “shock rock” band either.
Yes, by all means please go ahead and shoot this. We had no idea that it would turn out like this and had hoped for those not familiar with either singer would just guess at basic principles (IE: like make-up or urban legends they’d heard). Certainly, we’re sorry it just dissolved into a trivia thing. And since I’ve been more focused on trying to find a psychiatrist and get into a hospital, I haven’t been around to offer up a proper apology for it sucking so bad. So, I’m sorry guys.
