Even if he is sentenced to prison for life he runs the risk of really receiving the death penalty. Prisoners do not take a liking to crimes against children.
Look at the priest that raped all those children. Look at Jeffery Dahmer. (Ok this one is a little extreme but he did commit the crimes against some young men)

It’s sad, but I don’t believe that you can change the drive in a man if he wants to rape children. I see no rehabilitation for this man. I wouldn’t even bother trying to send him to counseling in jail. I think they should bring back the chain gangs!
Let’s make all the pro-death penalty people pay the extra cost to kill the offenders! Then when they realize it’s just cheaper to give them life imprisonment instead of satisfying their blood lust, you’ll start hearing “uh yeah… well I guess I don’t want him dead THAT badly.”
Monty Monty Monty . Can we also add in the cost of all the frivolous law suits filed by prisoners sentenced to life also ? I’m sure you’ve heard or read about these. Supposedly , John Doe’s religion demands he screw a live chicken every 12 hours or else he needs a sex change. I’d be willing to bet that if ALL the costs of life imprisonment were compared to the death sentences, death would actually be cheaper. It is a shame that compiling those statistics is just about impossible, unfortunately. I’d be interested on how they compare.
Now, onto your second point. My idea is stupid ? Why ? Because it puts the emphasis on you, your money, and your conviction instead of everyone else ? Tell me what i said in my idea is false. You can’t because you KNOW that when it came down to the bottom line, your short arms couldn’t reach your pockets to donate to your precious cause and the Central Death Prison would be empty pretty damn quick.
C’mon, Blalron. Its not about blood lust . Its about being done with these people once and for all. Once they are dead, our responibility for them is done. And yes, I WOULD donate willingly to the fund to make these people disappear.
I guess you’d rather have Prisoner X sitiing in his cell playing with himself and giggling like an idiot for as he thinks about what he did with little John or Jane Doe. Yeah, thats a much better plan. Ugh
I don’t think the value of a human life is dependent upon the worst thing that somebody has done. If we as a society have allowed somebody like this to grow up to be what he is, we should take collective responsibility for our mistakes.
