The Deradicalization of the Palestinians

No, that’s the fault of the Zionists who oppress the Palestinian people in order to maintain a demographic majority in Israel, keeping the Palestinians in an open air prison in Gaza and bantustans in the West Bank.

Thank you for your input.

Funny, I didn’t realize “Zionists” were the ones who put Hamas in power.

So, this really is literally just your original thread 2.0 then. Neither Palestinians nor Israelis want your solution, or even find it an acceptable solution, but to hell with what the people actually involved in the situation want or even consider acceptable, InfraBlue, the man with no skin in the game on a message board knows better than them what they need.

So pray tell, have you worked out just how your solution that they need, yet neither side wants, or finds acceptable is going to lead to an outcome that is in any way either better than the current situation, or even more peaceful than the current situation? Because, just to remind you again, neither side finds your solution acceptable. Which, again just to remind you, in this corner of the world means both sides will fight to oppose solutions they find unacceptable.

You’re essentially just being a snake oil salesman, repeating this claim that a one state solution will result in peace, and when presented with evidence that neither side considers your solution to be an acceptable outcome, the entirety of your explanation for how this will result in peace is to repeat your premise and tack on the evidence-free assertion that “it’s the solution that they need.”

Netanyahu has supported Hamas for years. It’s common knowledge and he is on record saying as much,

Tell that to their map makers.

And when men wearing white robes with pointy hats burn a cross on your lawn, it is just some Christians worshipping Jesus.

And he’s going to answer for that in the next election.

The Partition Plan saw the Zionists ethnically cleanse areas of Palestinians that came under their control in the 1948 Palestine Civil War which continued during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war. What the Palestinians can’t stomach is the denial of their rights in all of Palestine since that ethnic cleansing perpetrated by the Zionists.

You don’t know what the term means; look it up.

One thing is the Jewish people having the right to live freely “in their homeland,” as specious as that phrase is; another thing is the Zionists denying the Palestinian peoples’ right to live freely in their homeland in order to maintain a demographic majority in Israel and keeping them in an open air prison in Gaza and bantustans in the West Bank.

It makes you an ethnocentric oppressor.

Did you serve in the IDF?

Nobody knows what it means at this point. It’s been turned into a snarl word used to conflate any amount of support for Israel with supporting the ultra-Orthodox fundies who believe YHVH wants a man of Jewish blood to be king over everything between the Red Sea and Damascus, and it’s not a useful term.

He said, ignoring that nearly a quarter of Israel’s citizens are Arab Muslims who have neither been forced into “bantustans” or denied the franchise. There are “Palestinians” in the Knesset and on Israel’s supreme court.

Nobody was forced to leave Israel in 1948. The ancestors of the Gazans chose to do so because Egypt sold them a bill of goods.

This thread is closed for review until tomorrow.

I think a line was crossed here, further discussion needs to happen from the mods.

First, you were attacking Babale with this post and were recently warned about insulting posters outside of the Pit. So this is your second warning in a month and if you don’t stop insulting/attacking posters outside the pit, a suspension will be the next step.

Warning for @InfraBlue for attacking Babale in P&E.

Second this thread is contentious and problematic enough that I’m going to leave it closed.
