The Destruction of my Past Life, Now on YouTube

I’ve noticed recently that I can view disastrous flooding of places I’ve lived and the bulldozing of buildings where I’ve worked on YouTube (in addition to being able to find still images of these and other such things). I can watch the destruction of where I lived and worked, over and over. Whee.
Among these are:

The Flooding of my home town (several videos)

The Flooding of one place I lived in NY State (actually, there are several videos)

The Bulldozing of the Dining Hall at my old Boy Scout Camp

The Bulldozing of the huge Building I Worked at in NY State

The Bulldozing of the Building that was my Kindergarten

As a bonus, I found a realtor’s video of my grandmother’s house. Not bulldozed, but so completely changed over that it might as well have been.

I know these things are gone, and that we have to move on. I’m just amazed how much of the destruction of my past life has been lovingly preserved on video on the internet.

Your post prompted me to enter some addresses of places I’ve lived onto youtube. I found one or two realtor’s tours through a previous home of mine, or through the home of a long-dead childhood friend. These are eerie.
