The Drummer on The Cars

Holy crap! This guy is good! No, really. I’m just listening to some Cars music, but this guy is an anchor. David Robinson.
Pay attention. You’ll be surprised.

Better than Ringo.

I seem to remember the Cars drummer being replaced by a drum machine.

The Drummer On The Cars and the Fiddler On The Roof need to recruit a sick bassist and get it on.

Very talented. He was also the drummer for The Modern Lovers.

This is something I didn’t realize until someone pointed it out to me: the guitar solos played by Elliot Easton are not what you would expect from a band like The Cars. May of the solos are rockabilly. Which I find interesting.

Aye; very solid, very tasteful drummer.

And when it comes to underappreciated drummers, Steve Shelley of Sonic Youth is the first one that comes to my mind.

Only for the album Heartbeat City. He returned to the drums for their next album Door to Door.
