I thought for sure that the girlfriend’s kidnapping was going to take place during the beach rescue. I was imagining that the guy would whip off the cast and reveal that it was merely a ruse to get her alone, while the woman in the water would turn out to not be struggling at all and clock Jason Ritter.
Not a bad pilot episode. It has earned a provisional slot in my DVR schedule.
