Dunno what to make of this. The books are eminently filmable, and it could be great. Or maybe not. I hope Syfy has the budget for this, and puts it in good hands. I’d rather let HBO take a crack at it, but sadly no one asked me.

Yeah, I’m on board with this. Syfy have got a name for producing dreck over the last few years, but remember when Battlestar came out first, how we were all blown away? I think it has great potential, and is the best space opera I’ve read for years. For a hot property like this I think Syfy will pull out all the stops.
Sounds great! I really enjoyed the books. Hopefully, they’ll give it a solid budget, and more importantly, a solid writing staff.
Syfy could do it, definitely. They’ve done decent series before. I just hope they have the budget for it, 'cause to do it right would be really expensive.
I am on my last episode of the first season. I’ve been watching it on Amazon Prime. Looks like there’s a season 2 starting this month.
Never read the book but I’ve really enjoyed the series.
