The Feud: Batter Up! by missred [game over]

Sort of, plus I’m from Ohio and pretty sure few here have heard of the Akron Aeros or Mahoning Valley Scrappers.

Has a person ever finished last in their own feud before? Not that there’s anything wrong with it - I imagine that it could be challenging to have the low score.
Thanks for the feud!!

woooohoooo! I’m not last! I’m not last!

I hate baseball. I’m amazed I did as well as I did. :stuck_out_tongue:

wow - 4 hits and 6 strikeouts. No team will ever sign me now.

I know it’s a bit of a legend to not do well in your own Feud, but I’d have to look to see if anyone (else!) has come in last in their own Feud.

You’re hitting .400! You’ll lead the league!

If I’d been in time, which I wasn’t, I would’ve gotten all #1s except a strikeout on #1. :frowning:

At least I can aspire to be a cellar dwelling, but lovable loser. :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s a rebuilding year…

I picked them because I have a customer in Toledo, and stay in the Park Inn hotel kitty corner from their ballpark; it’s a stunning view (and I always request a ballpark view.) I always schedule my visit for when the Hens are in town and see a game. It’s a terrific park, AAA baseball is of very high quality, the people are friendly, and it’s cheap. I can’t think of a business trip I have to take with a more comprehensive and perfect little diversion.

Done in by Yankee Stadium again!

Why, yes, someone has indeed done just that.

Woohoo! Had a couple close calls, almost went with the Chicken. Pretty surprised there wasn’t a 10/10 in there - lots of lopsided categories.

Nevermind.

I would have done miserably with my answers anyway.

I hear you, Brother / Sister! :stuck_out_tongue:

Congratulations, Munch! Great job!

8 out of 10 was enough to get me 7th place, which I certainly can’t complain about. I realized after about 10 seconds that I should have said Yankee Stadium instead of Wrigley, but I really thought the Durham Bulls would take the category. (I do love me some 'Hens, though. Never failed to have a great time at Fifth Third Field or Ned Skeldon Stadium!)

I think that minor league games, in general, are much more fun to watch than major leagues. There’s much more of a community feel to them.

I would have to agree. In addition, in AAA, a lot of those guys are hungrier. They give it their all in hopes of moving up to the big league.
