I’m surprised at all the American Graffiti responses for #10 – wasn’t that set in the '50s?
The original tagline was “Where were you in '62”? The soundtrack did emphasize pre-British invasion music… “I don’t like that surfing shit. Rock and roll’s been going downhill ever since Buddy Holly died”.
Ah. My bad. I haven’t seen it since it came out, which has to be more than 30 years ago at this point. And I’ve never seen Forrest Gump at all, which looks like it’s going to be the other high scorer for that question.
So did I. I didn’t vote for a winning candidate until 1992.
