It would have been interesting if he had run in '68, as he was only 34 that year and thus one year too young to be eligible for the presidency.

Then again, Cleaver was only 33, and yet he ran on the Peace and Freedom ticket!

Holly died in 1959, but you’ll get some points anyway, as you got at least one match.

Gotta say this is a fun feud. I am goin’ to tank bad on this one. Thus, I blame Twicks just 'cause. :stuck_out_tongue:

If they delayed inaugeration until Feb 27, 1969, Could Nader have been elected President, while he was only 34?

rjk is #43.

I added a “still open” tag to the thread title in case people were hanging back because they thought it was full.

I’m not emotionally invested in the success of this feud or anything.

A lot of these are Google-style “I feel lucky” answers, as I know practically nothing about this era. It’s either the first answer I’d actually heard of from Google, or one that just popped into my head. I just wanted to give the feud a bump.

I so wanted to say Obama for #3. But I take it the answer has to be 1960s related. The first black congresswoman whom I picked (as she showed up in all the lists) will apparently do me as much good as if I’d stayed with the President.

Was Jesse Jackson really a 1960s figure? If so, why wasn’t he on any of the lists? At least I’ve heard of him.
