The Feud - "It was like a dream" -- the '60s by Twickster (game closed)

Jesse Jackson was a young 'un in the '60s. It turns out that he was with MLK when the latter was killed, though that fact didn’t really strike people as significant till the '80s, when he became a prominent figure, running for president in '84 and '88.

Thanks. I reported it using the “report post” button - but I think I should just PM you directly. You’re much faster! (Don’t all mods get notified, or just the ones for that forum?)

I’m feeling slightly better, but I called in sick to work. TMI ahead: Gotta be near the bathroom!

ouch.

Thanks for the feud! I placed higher than I expected.

Feel better, Dolores.

I was surprised* American Graffiti* did so well. It’s obviously set in the 60s (stupid tagline) but it’s really about the end of the “innocence” of the Eisenhower 50s. It even, in an roundabout way, spawned the Happy Days series.

Seconded as to all three sentences.

Dang, I sucked even though I lived thru it.:dubious:
