And the winners are… Baker and Hal Briston!!! Good job! ::flings confetti:: They both got the same 8/10 top answers. Excellent! Perfect score was 560.00.
My mind is asploding – jsgoddess and I are the ONLY two people who said “Dinah Washington.” To the best of my recollection, she and I have never even discussed poor Dinah.
At least no one said Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday or Pugsley Adamms. Gomez was my initial answer to the “Adams” question,
Was Uncle Fester an “Addams”? I always assumed Uncle Fester was Morticia’s uncle, not Gomez. (right or wrong, I always assumed crazy relatives are on the wife’s side of the family.)
My woeful showing in this feud has to be traced to my baseball knowledge. Whitey Ford? Gary Carter? FWIW, I saw Whitey Ford get inducted to Baseball Hall of Fame at Cooperstown shortly after Gerald Ford became president. I remember one line from his speech. (“It’s been a good week for Fords”)
At least I got top 10 in my own feud. I actually had Amy Adams at first. I wasn’t sure if changing to Cecil would be a good move or not, but once I thought of it I couldn’t *not *do it!
Still, without Henry Ford, Amy wouldn’t have saved me.
Hmmm… According to IMDb, the character’s name in the 1960’s TV series is “Uncle Fester Frump” while in the 1990’s movies it’s “Uncle Fester Addams.” Somebody must know. Maybe start a thread in Cafe Society?
So, Asimovian and I are the only two people who said Dinah Washington. I guess the brain-sharing has started and we’re still on opposite sides of the damned country.
