I don’t think it matters much, as least no less than Boston.
I missed the no repeats rule. I have no repeats out of habit.

I’m not being snarky, here, I promise.
But how do so many of you miss special rules? It happens almost everytime! What can I do to make it stand out?
I’ve thought about putting it into the middle of the list of questions, but that makes a bit more work for you to cut and paste, if that’s how you do it. (That’s what I do - c&p the questions into the quick reply box, then type over each of them as I answer.)
Suggestions?
I think astorian is #43. It’s harder to count leaving out the repeats.
Well, he’s discounted as well…

Maybe if “Special Rules” had been at the beginning of the post (but maybe not). I don’t think I’ve done a feud before that had special rules. I’m accustomed to highlighting and scrolling down to the first question, quickly, without reading, because I think I know what it says.
I don’t think you need to change anything. Those of us who messed up this time will be more careful in the future.
I think I missed it because it was in red, as odd as it seems. I think having a “Special Rules:” note just before the list of categories every time would work. If there are no special rules, put “None.”
I also think no-repeats should be a permanent rule.
Do a better job of articulating your rules in plain English. This is my first time participating in a game like this and the no repeat thing is just plain unclear. You do not specify if you meant no repeated answers from the same poster or if someone is repeating other posters’ answers.
Oh, I see your confusion there. I can reword “special rules” in the future.
Are the other rules clear enough? It’s good to hear from a newbie. We’ve all been playing so long nobody even reads the regular rules any more.
You could put a comment in between questions 3 and 4 like:
“Did you read the special rule about the NO repeat answer clause?”
Well, you shouldn’t be repeating other posters’ answers anyway, because you’re not supposed to be looking at them.
