As this thread is alive again, here’s some news: tonight I made my first batch of foraged plum jam in two years - last year was a write off; there was no fruit because of the weird summer weather . And it tastes as good as ever.
Now, I foraged 2kg and used 1.5. The remaining 0.5kg is in the freezer. Why?
Yep, the plan is still live. My next foraging task is damsons.
