Every time I open the dope I get the multiple CGI faces of that weird cloned baby from the Cloning magazine appear at the top of my page.

Seeing as I’m a cheapskate who won’t pony up a couple of bucks to remove the adverts, and as I’m not going to circumvent them with script blocking software, I’m stuck with them.

Seriously though, are things that bad that the only advertising they can get is from come crappy webmag that looks like the product of "Ernest graduates internet design college (class of '96).

So powerbacks.com, how about you clone yourselves up a middlefinger and a left frontal lobe and do some halfway interesting web design.

I’d put a link to it but I am sure the google page ranking will serve up the damn picture I’m talking about.

how about READING THE GODDAMN sentence you quoted? I’m not going to block the adverts from displaying.

I don’t have a problem with the SDMB displaying adverts. if they get any sort of revenue from adverts displayed in adition to clickthroughs, I’m not going to stop them getting that by the means of script blocking.
