A friend of my dad’s is an artist who makes them. Our mailbox at home is his distant cousin. My grandma thinks it’s (mailbox) the ugliest thing that she has ever seen.

And, the baby begins to lose weight. The Princess[sup]TM[/sup] was a legitimate overcooked baby. (I could pinpoint conception, too.) There was so little amniotic fluid that it was like she was shrink-wrapped. There may even have been a pop when the doc pulled her out.

Nope, no baby yet. Sorry, guys. I think the kidlet is too damn comfy. And I did have an argument about conception dates with my doctor, and won when they saw the ultrasound. Good thing, too, since I would have been induced last week if she’d had her way. So the kid is legitimately overdue and we’re getting into Concerned Land over here. Here’s hoping I suddenly have something happen today. Or tomorrow.

Good morning, all. I’ve actually been up for hours, trying to get this job done today so I can get paid for it next week. But I have an important question that I need input on because the more I look at it, the blanker my mind gets about what’s right or not.
When you’re shortening a year to the last two digits, I know you put an apostrophe in front of it ('76, '08). But when you’re referring to a decade, do you still need the apostrophe? Like I said, I’ve drawn a blank, and the more I look at it the blanker I get! It’s annoying how these little blind spots will pop up in my mind about things I’ve been doing for 40 years. 
Anyway, must work; I just stopped by now to see if TNC had decided to grace us with his presence yet. Looks like he’s going to be a stubborn one!
