Which Gangrene Gang? The normal one, or the super-powered one?
If we’re talking about the super-powered version, I’m going with the Gangrene Gang. Their powers rocked.
I’m not a big X-Men fan, but I’ve seen enough Powerpuff Girls to know the Gangreen Gang ain’t that great. Big Billy’s an idiot, and Grubber hardly says more than “pbbbbttt.” (He can say other things, but not often.) Johnny Bravo (who should know a lot about Cartoon Network stars, being one himself) gives a good point about the Gang’s superpowers, but I believe they were the result of food infused with Chemical X, and they were lost once the food went through their system, if you know what I mean. Seeing as this could probably never happen again, Magneto’s gang by a country mile. Or a city one.
He should be talking about the ones with superpowers, or this fight is more poorly balanced than lara croft.
When did the Gangrene Gang get super powers? Can anyone tell me what happened? I must have missed that episode. I saw the one aired yesterday on the Cartoon Network when the truant officer made them go to school, so they attended Miss Kean’s class.
On a side note, I’d like to see the Rowdy Ruff Boys brought back. With their “Afterburner” they could easily beat the Gangrene Gang and/or The Brotherhood of Mutants.
IIRC, the Amoeba boys got the Gangrene Gang sick with some kinda virus that gave them super powers. Throughout the episode, they beat the living crap out of the Powerpuff Girls.
Just when it seemed like all was lost for the heros, the GG ran to some bathrooms, everything got out of their systems, and the Powerpuff Girls triumphantly saved Townsville (once again).
And got eaten by a neon genesis evangelion robot. With relish.
