The idiot “haha it’s so funny!” through the whole thing killed it for me. Much funnier with the sound off. Just some tinky piano music might have been better. Still, I laughed.
Having a laugh track and/or someone proclaiming that the video is funny reduces funniness by approximately 75%. I thought it was funny, but not hilarious, and I also thought that it went on too long.

Any dog with a jar of peanut butter is funny. Dogs with hands are creepy. Someone laughing and saying “Oh my god that is so funny!” is not funny.
So I dunno, this video is not that funny. Is it only funny to people who don’t have dogs to whom they can give peanut butter?
I think dogs are like kids - it’s precious when MY dog does it, it’s just lame when yours does it

…I had a different idea about what this thread was about from the title. So maybe the creepiness of this is nothing because I was expecting worse. Phew.
I thought the dog + peanut butter was funny. Dog + hands and suit + soundtrack was not so funny. Of course, I’m also amused by watching dogs playing tug of war, either with another dog or a human.
I had no sound (except thru headphones parked a couple a feet away) and thought, now that’s a JIF commercial.
I’m pretty easily amused, and I didn’t think it was that funny. The dog was licking and licking and licking - was that what was supposed to be funny?
