In the Godfather, Michael Corleone’s sicilian bride dies in a car bomb meant for him, by that whats-his-name guy in the
jeff-cap. I know during the baby’s christening scene a lot of guys were blown away…was the car bomber one of them?
Did they find him at all?
Fabrizio was not killed in the original theatrical release. There is a scene which was added to the NBC “Saga” version (where the two movies are recut and shown in chronological order) which shows that Michael finds Fabrizio working in a pizza place in Buffalo. Michael has him blown up in his car after Fabrizio closes up for the night.
BTW I hate the Saga version. I prefer the movies the way they were originally cut (especially GF II)
I’m not too sure about the movie, but in the book I’m pretty sure he is the guy that gets wacked in the pizza parlour. Fabrizzio was his name possibly.
oops, robertfhm beat me to it!!!
In the book though, he gets shot in the pizza parlour. Before he was shot, the gunman said,
“Fabrizzio, Michael Corleone sends his reguards.”
