Am I too late to join?
Noooooo, Mr. No Clue Boy sent me a stick man drawing on the back of his post card. I remember hearing about you drawing special ones. Sadly, I wasn’t one of the people who got one from you.
I’m willing to compare your stick man drawing abilities to NoClueBoy’s.
Feel free to send me one of your post cards.
I love mail too. Oh, but I moved. So if you really really want to send me a post card, email me and I can give you my new and improved addresss.
Since I’m lacking wall decoration in my new place, I plan on getting something to stick all the cards I received on the wall in one room. Hopefully, we’ll get to do another post card exchange and I can build on my small colleciton.
Sadly, yes. The deadline was April 3rd.
It was a lot of fun, so we may do this again.

Do you realise how hard is to buy postcards in the OKC?
Okay, I just procrastinated. But I figured it would help liven up the Summer doldrums, don’t ya know…
The stick figure is Mr Onionhead. A DJ name I used to work under. Quack.
Actually, yes!
I went to, I kid you not, twelve hotels before I finally found half-decent postcards. The only place I succeeded at was a rich hotel downtown with a very expensive gift shop, but they had a wonderful selection!
Ohhhhh. Oh well. I’ll send you a sample next time we do this. I’m pretty sure that we’ll be having another exchange soon.
Oh no! I regret to inform you NoClueBoy that if you did in fact send a post card to me, it will get lost in to the mail abyss. I no longer live at that address (in fact, it no longer exists I believe). So, if you haven’t sent that one yet, don’t waste the money on a stamp…
If we do another postcard exchange, you can all look forward to receiving mail from New Zealand as I leave in less than a week to study there for a year…
NoClueBoy sent me a postcard of the Will Rogers Memorial. Nice to get something besides bills.
Lok
Thanks, NoClueBoy for the beautiful postcard of Oklahoma City.
Okay, okay, I’m within the three month response time!
Just wanted to praise Basandre for keeping in touch. Her postcard had a recipe for prickly pear jelly, and she sent me some juice, now that the prickly pears are in season. I sent her some of my mother’s watermelon rind pickles.
Today my mom and I cooked up the jelly and have five pretty jars of red jelly. I’m going to bake some fresh bread to go with it.
Nyah, nyah, I have it and you don’t!
Didn’t see this thread till now… email sent, if I’m not horribly late already. (life kept getting in the way, go figure)
If you want postcards from Vancouver, I’m your woman.
And the pickles were wonderful!
Flamsterette, I hate to tell you this but the whole thing is over. When I mentioned the three month response time, I meant it was less than three months since the last posting to the thread. The hamsters have to work overtime when we resurrect old threads.
But I’ll mail you a postcard from Kansas if I get your address!
A good idea never dies.
Thanks for telling me, Baker. slinks off in embarrassment :o :o :o :o
All right, sounds good. (maybe I’ll email you or something)
HEY! We could do a pre-Xmas mid Autumn card exchange!
Maybe after the FTSFSIIIMM ends, I’ll start one.
Ftsfsiiimm???
Hmm… apparently they don’t allow posts that are in all caps. Let’s try it again… FTSFSIIIMM???
There we go… much better now.
Ah, thanks. I don’t think I have the requisite chops for such a thing, not being heavily into sci-fi myself. But good luck with it!
Flamsterette. check your email.
