OK, it looks like I’m going with Garmin Pilot as the software on an ipad. Is safetaxi included in Garmin North America US Standard subscription?
What does Garmin North America Navigation Data provide that’s not included in North America US Standard subscription?

World’s biggest aircraft, Airlander 10, retired from service
After just six test flights, which weren’t exactly successful,
However, it said that its focus now was on producing Airlander 10s for customers around the world, rather than continuing to develop prototypes.
McGlennan said: “Instead we move ahead with a big job – eight years after the initial build of the prototype, we are now identifying our critical supplier partners, getting ready to design all the details that make the difference between a prototype and a product, and finalising the product certification plans.
“Many people ask me this question – when will Airlander be flying again? My answer is this – look for many, many Airlanders flying again, ready to be delivered to customers and used around the world.”
The original £25m model was first developed as a surveillance aircraft for the US army, and its first flight took place in 2012 before the programme was cancelled in 2013.
HAV then reacquired it, reassembling the part-plane, part-airship and its four diesel engine-driven propellers at RAF Cardington, Bedfordshire, where it was being modified for civilian use.
The company said it was in a “strong position to launch production” of the new aircraft, with the design already approved by the European Aviation Safety Agency.

How’d you like your vacation flight to Hawaii to have to turn around three $#@%^&! times?: Hawaiian Airlines flight headed to Maui returned to LAX three times | CNN
A commercial flight yesterday reached a relative ground speed of 801 mph thanks to the jet stream.
I got up to 630 knots (approx 725 mph) groundspeed in my biz jet yesterday. That’s as fast as I’ve seen in this plane.
It’s going the other way that is a problem when mapping. You can’t change altitude.
Saw 410 MPH GS in an old C-310Q and 490 MPH GS on a 601 Arrowstar.
Flown backwards in little airplanes many times. That is always a blast for me.
That’s fast… but what was it like flying on the Concorde?: Flying on the Concorde: What was it really like? | CNN

And I think this was posted here before, but just in case it wasn’t:
I was shooting astro (photography) the other night & caught some planes, at cruising altitude, in my long exposures.
Google Sky allows me to hold up my phone & by use of location & gyros shows me what stars/constellations I’m looking at.
FlightAware shows me flight info on airplanes.
Is there any (Android) app that combines the two, such that I can hold my phone up at a plane & find out that it’s AAL123 or DAL456 overhead?

Flightradar24 does exactly that. Uses an AR thingy through the phone’s camera and gives the details of passing aircraft. There is a free membership level that gives some details, and pay memberships that give additional info on the planes.
