I got a pretty card with a carousel horse from Salem’s Riverfront from jayrey today. It’s lovely. Thank you.

Yikes! I sent my overseas postcard on August 2, and as far as I can tell, it hasn’t been received yet. I used a global Forever stamp and everything… darn USPS. 
If it still hasn’t been received by Saturday, I’ll send out another one.
Got two more cards today, a very purple card from purplehorseshoe and a card from the wild, wild West (Oregon) from our organizer jayrey. Thank you, both!
Somehow the postcard from Iggy got buried in a stack of papers that were not incoming mail, so I don’t know how long it has been here. It is an amazing picture of a Christmas Tree Worm and the stamp has boats on it! Very cool Thanks!
I returned home from vacation to find a postcard from Iggy with a picture of a cool orange sea horse, which presumably lives in the oceans around the Caymen Islands and not in their aquariums, like here. (Or maybe ALSO in their aquariums… I have no information about the presence or absence of aquariums in the Caymen Islands.)

We do have some cool stuff in our waters. And the boats on the stamp are from our police department’s Marine Unit.
I haven’t had time lately to mention that I received a very coooool postcard from Teuton … meerkats in the Paignton Zoo somewhere in Great Britain … had to google the city and zoo to see where they hail from (the meerkats in the zoo, that is). Looks like a lovely zoo and it’s in a part of England that I’ve never been to … maybe someday I can pay a call.
