I can neither confirm nor deny that any cards have been sent and/or received. Maybe, if the rednecks didn’t hijack the mail truck.
Tranche #2 in transit.
Oops, sorry but I forgot to send Elendil’s Heir my home address. I am willing to exchange cards with the first three dopers who PM me their address.
Question: If I am sending a card outside the USA can I just put 3 “Forever” stamps on the card? Yes I know I would be overpaying the postage but it would save
me a trip to the post office.
My cards mailed June 1.
International postage is $1.20, so two postcard stamps and one forever stamp would cover it for 40¢ less than three forever stamps.
I got my three mailed out yesterday. One more should go out today.
My cards went in the post today! But they are crossing the pond, so I’d give it a week
I received my first card today. It turns out that El Kabong and I don’t live too far apart. I also learned that he works at a cool place!
blondebear sent me a couple of neat retro cards: one of Marineland of the Pacific, which I remember from my youth, and one of a lobby card for “El Vampiro Atomico.”
Tres kewl! Thanks!
Thanks for that, MM.
Mine went in the mail Thursday the 4th.
I’d gotten three cards from romansperson yesterday. My sister agrees that the Guglhupf is a worthy stop in Durham.
I got a funny card from Reality Chuck today. I’ll hold off on describing it in case he sent the same card to others. I needed a laugh today. Thanks!
No one has ever gotten all 3 cards on the same day! A first for 3. And in response, I got 2 from Maus today. I had no idea there was a 2nd Parthenon in Nashville. My mother’s namesake (wife of the 7th Earl of Elgin) was involved in the removal of the famous marbles from the original one.
I received my first card today from RealityChuck. My card gave me a chuckle as well!
Got a kouple kaiju kards (Godzilla 2000 and Rodan) from silenus. Rodan is my favorite of the original Toho/Honda movies.
Also, a card from Elendil’s Heir–from Cleveland’s Museum of Contemporary Art, a pic of artist Do Ho Suh’s translucent upside down staircase.
Thanks, guys!

I finally mailed mine yesterday, on my way to my badly-needed haircut.
Just got a nice retro assortment of Pennsylvania Turnpike postcards, and also a paddlefish postcard, from Blondebear. Thanks!
Got one from needscoffee that folds out to become a car.
