So Round 1 voting is over?

Yes.

mmm

Fun to be the “current swing vote,” yet the first two that came to mind overall were Dan Fielding and Archie.

I voted for the one I knew, not the one I thought was better, on most of these. Didn’t vote on three of them, because I didn’t know either of the two.

Why are there only 16, instead of 24? Who was summarily ejected, and why?

Never mind. I’m confused.

I’m confused too. I’m seeing characters who I thought lost in Round 1 return. I’m not sure I understand the methodology here.

Yes, some of the head-to-head battles in Round 1 have made it into round 2. There were 25 round 1 winners and I needed a bracket of 32 (16 battles) in round 2.

So I added seven round 1 losers to accomplish this. I did it based on how many votes they got in round 1. the seven-highest vote getters amongst the losers advanced. They were seeded in this bracket based on their original rankings.

Sorry, I should have explained this from the get-go.

It should be smooth sailing from here on.

mmm

Can we get someone to break the George Costanza/Gomez Addams deadlock?

If it doesn’t happen in the next 12 hours or so, I will advance the higher seed of the two (which would be Mr. Costanza).

mmm

I undid my vote for Gomez Addams. I only voted for him because I don’t like Seinfield. I don’t know either character. But, if it becomes a tie again, then add a vote for Gomez.

Thank you for your service, Mr. or Ms. Balk.

And now we have a different tie. I will advance the higher seed lest we be here forever.

mmm

Round 3 polls are now live.

Further votes in this thread will not count.
