Well, the first 2 episodes were intense. There’s alot going that’s just downright bizarre, not all of it in a good way. June is seriously damaged and she’ll never be able to function “normally” again; Serena is still the same manipulative cunt she’s always been. I with Tuello had told her about the fine.

While I look forward to Serena being treated like a glorified Handmaid this article makes a very good point. The show is really reluctant to show women trying to terminate their pregnancies (except in Janine’s backstory). Just what is the abortion debate like in a Canada struggling with the same infertility problems? If a woman finally manages to escape over the border in her third trimester can she still get an abortion? Why are they afraid to show a woman not identifying with or caring about her rapist’s child?
Serena honey, I know Cmdr Lawrence is hard to read, but how the fuck could you think he’d have the slightest interest in marrying you?! 
For those who’ve read The Testaments I think they’re setting Serena Joy up to come up with Pear Girls instead of Aunt Lydia, at least as far as the missionary aspect. Thoughts?
