The Humphrey Lyttelton Memorial Mornington Crescent International

The game will never be the same again. :frowning:

Green Park

I’m sure he won’t mind me playing Old Street.

RIP.

A jazzman will appreciate Hornchurch.

RIP.

Saw him just a few weeks ago live, and he could still damn well play that trumpet. A crying shame.

I suspect a former living legend won’t begrudge Monument.

RIP.

And so young

I’ll play the Reverse Diagonal (Hodgkin’s variation) “The saddest of all moves”
*Blackfriars *

RIP.

What more fitting than a quick Fugue to Goodge Street?

RIP

According to the 1988 Montreux Declaration on Play-By-Post Mornington Crescent, the winner of a previous game cannot participate in the first 25 posts if someone has died since his last play. So it goes.

I’m not going to participate in the Mornington Crescent “joke”, which I find tiresome when not performed in the context of the show, but I do mourn this awesome bloke, who kept his bawdy sense of humour to the end - and I was amazed to learn that he played on the last track of Radiohead’s Amnesiac.
