Ah, but it’s not strictly an in-joke… It’s not something I and an exclusive group of people get… the group of people who saw Anchorman is likely anything but exclusive… - I don’t much care for in-jokes, I don’t like leaving people out of things.
What I do like is referential humor - which can be funny even if you don’t get the reference - and I’m always happy to point someone to where I’ve drawn a quote from.
