Meanwhile, I have had success - I found glassesthat are close to the ones I have and want to augment. And I learned that large drinking glasses are called “coolers” - who’d’a thunk it? Anyway, I just ordered an 8-pack and I should have them next week. YAY! Today is a happy day!
Well this morning is full of blurg and ack.
Woke up with migraine. Took meds, went back to bed for a couple of hours. I’m working from home today, which is great, but someone is repeatedly slamming the door to one of the other apartments. This is not helping my head, and I may axe-murder them.
Is it even possible to trim bangs while wearing glasses?
FCM, did you try Google Images for your drinking glasses? I think you can upload a photo and search for a similar image. (That’s my pre-caffeine description.)
**Bun **- I don’t think I could have trimmed my hair with my glasses on, but without them, everything is kinda blurry, hence the delight at accomplishing it sans specs! And I found the drinking glasses that I think will do the job. We shall see…

I’m giving them a day since there was no mail delivery on Thanksgiving. I think that’s what’s holding up the train.
Finally got my foot x-rayed and I did some worldbuilding based on some thoughts I had while reading Tad Williams in the waiting room. The bad thing about writing your own fantasy novel is that you start reading other people’s fantasy novels more critically. “Well, why is that common trope the case? What if one tweaked it in this fashion thereby causing this inversion of said trope…”

My neighbor appears to have a little bitty crushy-poo on me. Nothing overt, nothing creepy or anything like that, and he’s nice enough as a person and as a neighbor, so I’m in this weird balancing act where I want to be friendly but I don’t want to lead him on or give anyone the wrong idea. Still, when he offered my carless ass a ride in to work this cold, windy morning so I wouldn’t have to wait at the bus stop (thus getting me to work in 1/3 of the time AND saving my broke ass some bus fare) you better believe I accepted the offer.
Anyway, happy Monday everybody. Here’s to one last day of turkey leftovers. (Side note: my mom has ***got ***to start making more gravy. A meager little dribble per slice? I want a SOUP BOWL’S worth!)
Oh, my way to work this morning, while I was in the drive-through at Taco Bell, there was a ping announcing the message that my granddaughter had been born. She’s the first grandbaby born into the family. Apgar: 9.9. Weight: 7 lbs 1 oz.

Zombie fits me pretty well, especially on a Moan-day morning. Spidey, can’t argue with you on the straight Bailey’s… but I might sub in some Evan Williams spiked eggnog. 'Tis the season, and eggnog’s full of eggs, right… so it’s definitely a breakfast drink
