I made no phone calls today,
had quite a few to make but why spoil a pretty day?
I sat on the porch for a bit with the dog and I let him off leash.
I doubt he would ever wander off but you never know and I’d hate to have him get out of the yard.
He strutted around the deck looking happy though.
I irked extra hours because the company asked me, and I got some more boxes unpacked.
All the kids gifts have been ordered from amazon.
I still have the adult nieces, my mother and Sah-son to buy for. Usually i get my mother gift cards to restaurants but I know she won’t go by herself so I need to think of something else. My nieces will get restaurant gift cards. I have no idea what to get Sah-son. He is happy with very little.

On the phone front, I discovered last night that the extended warranty I have on ‘em will reimburse me for any associated shippin’ costs with gettin’ the replacements from ATT. So I believe I shall go that route. I even have email confirmation that the shippin’ costs are covered with a contact name, phone number, and address. I am a happier bear this mornin’.
We scored free tickets to an all you can eat pancake breakfast this Sattidy mornin’. Pancakes and bacon shall be consumed in mass quantities!
Now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy is hongry. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence.

It’s raining. It’s been raining since before I went to bed. It’s in the 30s. It’s miserable out there. I’m so glad I did my laundry yesterday!! Well, except for the unders, but those usually go in the dryer anyway, so that’s today’s plan.
Actually, it’s just part of today’s plan. Another part is making an appointment with our dentist’s insurance specialist so she can tell us which plan available to us is the best choice, considering FCD’s 2 impending crowns. I know what each plan costs annually, so figuring that and the copay and the cost of both crowns, we’ll see if it’s even worth it to get more insurance. But she was nice enough to offer to look at them for us, so yay! Gotta get that done pronto - I need to apply by the end of the week.
Other than that, the day will be spend indoors grousing about the weather.

My mum sent me a heated mattress pad for my birthday. It’s WONDERFUL! The bad part is, I slept like a rock, and didn’t want to get out of my toasty bed.

I’m all *grrrrrrrr *about dental insurance. But I think we figured out what we need to know, so there’s that. Now I just need to hear back from them so I can set up the account.
Meanwhile, I’m going to shower and we’re driving to Annapolis. **FCD **needs something for his fiberglass work and I’ve got nothing better to do. So, off to make myself presentable for public interactions…

I slept through the night for the first time in weeks, I feel good this am.
It’s a wet rainy 35 degrees and according to the weather app on my phone, this is as good as it gets today.
Today is irk and unpack some boxes. I found a bunch of old soap, candy and candle molds We used to play around with a lot of crafts, maybe I will again. We always had a lot of fun doing them together,

What a fun mornin’ this has been so far. :rolleyes: First printer refused to print. I futzed with it until it decided to print again. Now email has gone down yet again. On the plus side I scanned and emailed reports and stuff yestiddy so that’s out of the way. Email may work again in a few minutes or a couple of hours hence. Who knows.
Other than that, I have had a “Come to Jesus” with a participant who has developed a pattern of bein’ habitually late to his trainin’ site. I did, however, enjoy his soap opera quality excuses about why this keeps happenin’.
The fun just never ends.
ETA: Spaz BBBobbio and I could just walk into a room and say, “Do you really want to go through all this? What say we cut the crap and just do it our way. It’ll save a lot of time.” We could charge mega fees for that!
Going out to a concert tonight, and there’s so much to do before then.
