Here’s some stills of the guy seconds before he was shot. He had a phone in his hand. The goons weren’t trying to get a gun away from him while he was on his feet. And once he was on the ground, there were eight fucking fat-ass thugs on top of him. If they couldn’t disarm him without killing him, they have no business being in law enforcement.

One of the talking heads on MSNOW noted that in general, if you approach a (real) police officer with a weapon drawn, they will simply shoot you. What they will not do is try to show off their wrestling skills. I can easily picture one of these Trump goons deciding that this is their moment to show off those elite MMA skills because it will look good on camera. I vaguely recall one of Trump’s lackeys talking about training agents like this although I think that was in reference to the FBI.
In any case, the point is that a real police officer would have responded much differently if this had actually been an armed person approaching with a weapon drawn. Instead, it looks like ICE is lying about a murder they committed in public yet again.
There’s another video now of the murder victim recording with his phone and being aggressively harassed by an ICE agent. There’s also slowed down versions of the initial video that appear to show an agent reaching down to remove a holstered firearm from the victim’s lower back area before any shots are fired.
If all that ends up being accurate, ICE picked a fight with a protester, noticed a firearm on him, removed it, and then executed him.
The bullshit story comes first and then the “investigation” will take place that somehow confirms the initial bullshit story.

Minneapolis Police Chief has said the victim had a license to carry. His only prior run in with the law were traffic tickets.
Government agents executed a lawful gun owner who posed no threat to them. They initiated the confrontation. He never took his gun out.

Frankly, I don’t think anything will change even if (when) ICE breaks into a family’s home, finds out they are actually American citizens and then executes the entire family including twin babies.
