Sooner or later, a real domestic terrorist is really going to assassinate some ICE officials … and I don’t think I’ll give a fuck.
It’s not terrorism to fight against an occupying force if you’re attacking the units used to occupy and not, say, their families.
Like ‘Communist,’ or ‘Socialist,’ or ‘woke,’ to them the definition of ‘terrorist’ is, ‘Whatever I don’t like.’ Threats to their families or even death has nothing to do with it.
I know, but he said “a real domestic terrorist” and he meant someone who was fighting back against ICE so I disagreed with his characterization. Terror is what ICE is doing. If someone started fighting back, it would be self defense and/or defense of their community.
The problem is that it’s a catch-22. If people don’t resist ICE with force, then ICE keeps acting with impunity, if they resist with what you suggested, then Trump, MAGA and media promptly say “Aha! violence against ICE, ICE is therefore justified, time for harder crackdown!” It’s a no-win.
As the saying goes, “terrorist is what the big army calls the little army”. Or the individual.
ICE is an arm of the state, so nothing they do is terrorism, while anything anyone does to fight back, passively resist or simply exist against their will is “terrorism”.

That angle also shows that the guy who shot him clearly sees that the man on the ground had his gun taken away and was disarmed. The murderer moves to get a better angle and pushes his fellow terrorists out of the way. It’s clear that he was just itching to find an excuse to murder the guy, and maybe he thought seeing a gun (even if it was taken away from the guy) was the excuse he needed.
Also, he knew that even if he murdered the guy with 5 different video views of him murdering, the administration would have his back and make up a bullshit story within 15 minutes. Also, he’s also probably banking on getting a cool million dollar go-fund me account.
I don’t think it’s possible that even someone as delusional as Stephen Miller believes all this bullshit. He’s making all kinds of extreme statements for which there is exactly zero evidence, and in fact ample evidence for the exact opposite. Someone should ask this Nazi how someone with no criminal record and in fact no encounters with law enforcement beyond some traffic tickets, and who worked as a caregiver at a VA hospital, was a “domestic terrorist”.
But I guess when you’re a true Nazi evidence is irrelevant. Back in the 30s and during the war, German Nazis needed no evidence to support the atrocities they were committing.

According to Reddit, National Guard apparently arriving in Minneapolis - people in r/law are wondering whose side they will be on (with some voting that they will try to be a shield between the two groups.)

The national guard are there to protect federal buildings so that federal agents can be out brutalizing people and not defending their buildings
