crap, sorry, missed the ending of my spoiler…
You need to have seen the movie to understand what’s happening, where, when and why in Jack-Jack Attack

I am so tempted to buy those 4 lithographs but I’d have nowhere to display them. They’d just get thrown into a drawer or something.
Also, I just noticed… The version of the DVD on that Disney order page is fullscreen. I only buy widescreen, even though I know Pixar’s fullscreen transfers are terrific compared to those by other studios.
I forgot to mention that at Future Shop, if you pre-order that DVD online, you can get a $5 eCertificate for a future purchase of at least $30.

If you pre-order in-store, you can get a “The Incredibles” collector’s tin, while supplies last.
Just got notice from Disney that it was sent out yesterday! Woot!
Why am I a white guy? And what’s the deal with that rabbit?

Got it yesterday afternoon, and saw it last night.
Wow.
Very, very good. I haven’t really gone through all of the extras yet- I just watched the movie and the bloopers. I did the THX thingy, and got my TV’s picture adjusted, but I could never get the audio portion of the test to play correctly- all the sound came out of the left side. I didn’t have any trouble during the movie, though.
I was going to rent it, but I recently recieved a $25 Best Buy gift certificate, so I may go ahead and buy it (I did not see it in the theatres)

I’ll change my statement to,
Got it yesterday afternoon, and saw the light.
Wow is right. We even watched a bunch of the extras, like Jack-Jack attacks, and looooved it. It was !9.99 at Best Buy but if you buy the first day it’s out, you get it for $15.99 - so I ended up buying it for $17.16 (NY sales tax!). And, I’m part of the Best Buy Rewards program, so I ended up getting a lithograph too.
I got it Monday night (thank you Overstock.com! ), and I’ve been devouring it like a madman since. Gone through all the extras and Brad Bird’s commentary, still have the animator commentary to go.
Seriously awesome stuff. I’m slightly miffed the “Publicity” didn’t include any of the billboards/print ads for the film, but other than that it’s all excellent. Brad Bird’s commentary is not to be missed (I loved his rant against the animation “genre”), and while “Jack-Jack Attack” is a fun short, the Easter-Egg-hidden sock puppet remake had me ROTFL like a MOFO.
I just got it and I’ll be watching it tonight.
I’m going to turn it up really loud too.
I got the DVD yesterday at Future Shop for $19.99 Canadian. It also came with an aluminum case.
It is an awsome movie which I saw twice at the theatre. I have gone through most the extras. One thing I noticed is that they didn’t do interviews with or even mention the main actors who did the voices such as Craig Nelson, Holly Hunter and Samuel Jackson. Maybe that was to keep up the suspension of disbelief that the Incredibles are the “real” characters, but I missed seeing their input.
Also it seems that most of this movie was hand animated as opposed to using motion capture. I like that as using motion capture almost exclusively seems to loose the animation aspect of CGI movies.
“THAT WAS TOTALLY WICKED!”
Yup. I think the kid at the end summed it up the best. Loved it in the theater. Loved it just as much last night when I watched my shiny new copy. Too. Cool.
My pre-ordered copy did NOT arrive yesterday. Grrrrrrrr.
It must be Eisner’s fault. :wally
I saw it for the first time on DVD. Just loved it. As mentioned above, it’s the best Bond parody (possibly the best Bond movie, period) ever.
Some surprisingly adult stuff: characters die (implied) in flaming explosions, sucked into jet engines; characters drink and have sex (also implied) and attempt suicide.
Reading between the lines on the “making of” bonus feature: everybody who works with him thinks Brad Bird is a jerk. Lots of references to how much he yells, and backhanded “I love his passion” comments. Anybody else get this impression?
But Pixar has got to be the coolest place to work in the world.

We laugh every time over this:
Elastigirl? Married Mr. Incredible?..And got busy! (with the appropriate shoulder jiggle).
Funny. I was thinking of the montage where Mr. Incredible is working back into shape – he’s heading out the door on his way to “work”, when Elastigirl yanks him back into the house for a quickie. What would Walt say?
Nor mine…also straight from Disney Direct (and my bonus stuff!).
I detect a conspiracy.
My local Circuit City had The Incredibles yesterday for 15.99, and I got a free Incredibles basketball with purchase. Not a little plushy b-ball mind you, an actual rubber basketball inflated with air and painted red with plenty of “I”'s and a picture of the Incredible family. I’d take a picture and post a link to it, but I’m about to head out the door.
