I notice a Vanguard Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) fund, based on the FTSE North America All Cap index you mention, that does include DJT. Go into here, scroll down to Holdings Detail, and click on the Download button, and look at row 1221 in the spreadsheet:
Narrow takeaway: Just because the company meets ESG criteria does not mean it isn’t pro-Trump.
Broad takeaway: Avoiding Trumpy companies, without significantly increasing risk and lowering investment returns, is probably difficult unless you have a great deal to invest. My preferred method, of buying the stock and voting against the incumbent directors, may be almost as difficult.
