I know that the Bush administration hasn’t been able to prove the presence of an Iraqi A-Bomb…but, Saddam Hussein certainly spent a LOT of money in trying to get one.
Does anybody know what happened to this effort?
First, Hussein bought an “OSIRAK” nuclear reactor from France, in the late 1970’s…which the Israeli Air Force destroyed! Next, Saddam had orderd and built “Calutrons” (mass spectormer separation gear to enrich Uranium). Based on accounts I have read, he was employing quite a few scientsists…how far did these efforts get?
And, where did SH get his uranium? :o
