ETA: And this is a government agency, where everyone is supposed to be inefficient and unhelpful. No one at my workplace got that memo.

It’s nice to see the stereotype that I created in my mind busted. Some of the most miserable* people I ever met were IT for local government agencies.

Miserable as in “forlorn,” not miserable as in “despicable.”
