Out of interest, is referring to graduation of schools other than college/university an American/Canadian thing? I’ve never really heard anyone talking about graduation from high school and the like aside from American TV.
I suppose so. High school graduation is a kinda big deal in the states, I can’t speak for Canada. Most Middle School/Jr. Highs have a graduation of some sort as do most elementary schools…but those are less of a big deal as more or less everyone expected to move on from those to high school.
