The "I've Never" Game (Game in Progress)

I can surely trill an r. I have not seen Sex in the City, but I have had a TV in my bedroom for at least a decade or more.

For a while, MrWhatsit and I had a TV in the bedroom, in a previous house.

But I’ve never seen Sex and the City, and I can’t roll my damn R’s, either.

I used to have a bedroom tv, and I’ve seen one episode of that show.

NITPICK: Since you said AND… Can I keep my toothpicks if I’ve only owned a TV in the Bedroom, but I’ve NEVER seen a complete episode of Sex in the City (that was gonna be one of my next Qs, a long list but with “OR” rather than “AND”).

Can I get a Mod Ruling on that one?

I can Alveolar Trill my Own Name.
Here you go.

That is how I answered the question as well, and I gave my toothpicks.

Can’t roll my 'r’s I apparently have a horrible accent when I try to speak Spanish. I don’t bother anymore.

Umm, I have a TV, haven’t seen Sex in the City, sooo…

Can you repeat the statement truthfully?

I’ve never seen SitC, either, so :stuck_out_tongue:

I can say “I’ve never had a TV in my room AND watched an episode of Sex in the City.” truthfully.
But i can’t say “I’ve never had a TV in my room”.

:sigh:
Have a toothpick. Maybe.
Though i will get this nitpicky in the 3rd round, just a warning.

So watch your “OR”'s and “AND”'s, people!

**Since that r-sound seems to exist in Swedish, I’ve done it.

And I’ve both had a TV in my bedroom as well as seen SatC** (I’ve even watched SatC on the TV in my bedroom  )

That “rrrr” sound was what made me take French instead of Spanish in high school - I can’t do it. Never had a TV in my room, and I’ve never seen more than a clip of Sex in the City.

I speak spanish decently, but still can’t roll my Rs. Well, not with the front of my toungue as specified by the I neverer. I can fake an aproximation using the back of my toungue, but still…
No toothpick for rolling.

I have had a TV in my bedroom, though.

Unless you speak Skånska or something. I don’t think that sound exists in the more Danish-inspired dialects of Swedish.

As for fisha’s franken-never, [color=green]I’ve had a TV in my bedroom, though it’s been some time since I had a TV at all.

Nah, I only speak Skånska after a few days there. Haven’t lived there for about 10 years so my r.s have changed to normal ones. Now I’m all about “rikssvenska”

I can roll my R’s.
I love having a television in my bedroom.
I am ashamed to admit that I have watched a few Sex and the City episodes.

I’ve tasted my own, and had a TV in my room but I’ve never watched SatC, and can’t do the tongue roll. - So are we counting that as losing one or two sets of toothpicks?

My TV is in my living room, but as it’s a dorm, it’s also my bedroom. Never seen SatC though. For French and Choir, all my rolled r sounds are made at the back of my throat. I’m not sure how, but I’ve never been able to do it at the front of my mouth. Voice teacher tried to break me of it, but eventually came to the conclusion that it worked, so don’t worry about it. And as for the last, pretty much the same story as WtR - it’s not bad, but nothing to write home about.

**Can’t roll my tongue. A flautist in my youth, I was unable to learn flutter-tonguing.

Have neither had a TV in the bedroom nor seen Sex and the City.**

It was an “or.”

Sorry for the coding and sorry for the poorly phrased never.

I’ll do better next time, promise…

No for semen, television and Sex and the City.
I can roll my Rs though.

You must be able to truthfully repeat the entire statement to keep your toothpicks.

Next round let’s keep the and/or statements to a minimum shall we?

I’m working on catching up the spreadsheet. Since everything was out of order, it’s taking a while. I’ll tally everything as soon as I can.
