Yes, but when Richards flamed out I thought she had been promoted to “The Host of Jeopardy” which is how she’s been introduced my Johnny Gilbert ever since, with Ken’s introduction being “Hosting Jeopardy.”
I’ve always preferred Ken, by far, but have been pleasantly surprised by how Mayim has improved. Ken as “The Host” with Mayim as “Tournaments Host” would be fine by me.

I would guess that the “into 2022” qualifier refers to the fact that calendar 2022 will include parts of two seasons (38 and 39). And they are informing us only of what’s planned for the rest of season 38, and saying nothing, yet, about season 39.
Who is the British idiot who was the fourth chaser? Where the heck did he come from? He was horrible and wasn’t even the main chaser in the last show. Four is too many. James and Ken would be fine just the two of them switching off. I could do without boring Brad as well.

I think Mayim is great. Love her. Ken too.
Mark Labbett is one of the Chasers on the original show in Britain. He was also the Chaser on GSN’s The Chase a few years ago. That show only had one chaser. I’m not a fan of his The Beast shtick. But he’s incredibly fast in the final chase round. He’ll usually catch teams with less than 22 answers.

How can you discuss Ken Jennings as Jeopardy host and pretend his other hit show doesn’t exist?
I’d accept Mayim if she could convince me that no snakes were hurt in the making of her brain medicine.
I cring every time Mayim’s commercial pops up on my TV. But she had that gig long before Jeopardy.
She’s doing a good job hosting. I’m OK with her sharing the job with Ken.
I agree with @gregorio; this topic is about Jeopardy!, not The Chase, no matter who is involved with that show.

I agree with this as well FWIW. When the season premiere of The Chase occurs, whether its last season was any good, or whether or not you like Mark Labbett have nothing to do with Jeopardy. If you want to discuss those things, start a thread about The Chase.

All contestants avoided it to the end, even though for most answers anyone can get them, like Anastasia, but for the Daily Double, I could have sworn that “Bolshevik” meant the minority party, as a definition. They were the minority beginning of 1917, for much later I think even though they took power, did not know the definition of "Bolshevik"was majority. But because the clue was about the party that opposed Lenin, knew it was the Menshivaks. Unfortunatlely the contestant said “Bolsheviks”
I agree. I like Mayim, and in fact I predicted she would be chosen as permanant host before I ever saw a show with her hosting. But she is too much of a well-known TV personality, she has too much personality, I will never be able to completely forget that persona. Ken is showing a lot more personality lately but it’s as an insider. It’s like the difference between Howard Cosell (who I loved) commenting on baseball instead of Keith Hernandez or Ron Darling for the Mets.
