Just bumping this (oh, the doc in the previous post is still active).
Anyway, unreported by the press, Mike Road, voice of Race Bannon died last year at 95. From what little is known about his retirement years, he was pretty private, and had no interest in revisiting his acting career.
Well, they killed him off on The Venture Bros a few years back. Combat on a plane, throws a grenade as he jumps out the door. Plane blows up and starts going down. Race smiling and lights a cigarette as he parachutes to safety. Plane circles back and clips him with it’s wing.
