I’ve been trying to eat healthier for the last 8 months or so, and have gotten down to around 150 pounds (From 188) so I am a very happy girl, except that I want to lose another 25 pounds and I am finding the weight hard to shift.
So, the other night on a current affairs program I saw a story on The Kick Start Soup Diet. I looked it up on the net and it looks ok, but it also says that you will lose up to a kilo a day on this diet.
I don’t know, but a kilogram a day seems very unhealthy to me. I want to try it out but I am unsure. Has anyone out there tried this diet? What do the rest of you think about it?
Well honestly… it looks to me that you will lose that weight in 1 week because it is water weight from carbs.
This diet takes all breads out of your diet so you should be able to lose that initial weight with no problem…
The results after week 1 will not be the same as week 2 because you will already have dropped the weight from being bloated off carbs…
It is a great way to start a diet because you should be able to lose some weight pretty quickly…
but since you have already been on a diet and lost 38 lbs (congrats by the way) it may not work as well for you.
I have been on my “getting ready for summer” diet for about 3 weeks now.
I completely cut carbs out for the first week, and ran everyday
I lost 8 lbs. in 5 days…
It is not really unhealthy to lose that much weight in 1 week because it is mostly water weight…
If you have never tried cutting carbs out, then it will probably work for you… as long as you exercise, and keep exercising when you start eating carbs again…
